The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC“) is a federal agency that enforces employee civil rights in matters of workplace discrimination.

As a federal agency, the EEOC employs individuals who are charged with the responsibility of investigating allegations of workplace discrimination.  This is a very helpful medium for employees who have experienced discrimination.  Often, the EEOC will issue “right to sue” letters on behalf of complainants.

The EEOC hears complaints based on an individual’s race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, disability, gender identity, genetic information, and retaliation for reporting, participating in, and/or opposing a discriminatory practice.

We are experienced in matters that fall within the EEOC.  We can help employers defend allegations made by employees.  We can also help victims navigate their way through the EEOC and counsel them on how to most likely receive a favorable outcome.
